Late Bloomers 35mm

A very special Swiss Film & Talks afternoon with Director Bettina Oberli in person. Featuring a 35 mm film projection of the Swiss classic “Late Bloomers”: Centers around four older ladies from the Emmental region. When four older women decide to turn the local corner shop into a chic lingerie store, the whole community is thrown into disarray.

Preceded by both a screening of an episode of “The Night in Question” and an on-stage conversation with Bettina Oberli.

Swiss Film & Talks is organized by the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco. The Berlin & Beyond Film Festival is presented by the Goethe-Institut San Francisco. Additional community support from the United Swiss Societies of Northern California Cultural Committee.
